To move AMEC from being seen as construction company, to acknowledgement as one of the world's leading international project management and services companies, especially amongst political audiences
Who did we need to speak to?
• Government audiences across Westminster and Whitehall and the extended political community
What was the story?
• AMEC employ a wide range of talented people that reflect its capabilities as a project management and services company - from scientists and environmental consultants to financial experts, engineers and project managers. They advise clients, who often include Government, on everything from planning, funding and design to project management and delivery.
How was it told?
• Through a number of individual briefings and special events to give those in Government a clear understanding of AMEC’s reach and capabilities. This included a parliamentary reception at the House of Commons, specialist sector briefings, sponsorship of the President’s Reception at Trade Union Congress, a reception for MSP’s and visits to key AMEC sites
Result: AMEC now had a strong body of friends and supporters across Westminster and Whitehall with MPs acknowledging AMEC’s role as a leading UK project management company with global reach.
