Case Study: The Brown book

The Brown Book
To provide clients with solid, credible intelligence about what a Brown Government would mean for them that would transcend the gossip and reportage that populates the press and give them a competitive advantage by virtue of the added time they had to prepare for a transition.

The task
•   Our consultants undertook an exhaustive study and analysis of the broad span of     media coverage about and around Gordon Brown, as well as the speeches and other     utterances of Brown and his closest supporters.

The story
•   Why a Brown victory was so likely, how his style of government would differ
drastically from his predecessor, what a Brown premiership would mean for
the other main political parties. It also provided a comprehensive run down of
the most integral members of Gordon Brown’s coterie.

Result
Within weeks the first print run had sold out. BPPA’s specialist units also created bespoke versions to predict what a Brown Government might mean for individual clients and sectors. The Brown Book has proved to be an invaluable accessory for businesses wanting to get ahead of the curve in terms of their political and commercial planning, as becomes more and more evident the closer we get to a Gordon Brown premiership.
