Alasdair Liddell CBE
Alasdair is Bell Pottinger’s expert on the health sector. He was national Director of Planning for the NHS at the Department of Health from 1994-2000, where he led the teams developing the new Labour Government’s health strategy and reform programme, and was responsible for NHS Communications, NHS IT and Information and a number of policy areas, including primary care. Prior to that his NHS career spanned 23 years, 12 at Chief Executive level, and he was a member of the top management board of the NHS from 1988-2000.

Alasdair is a Senior Associate at the King’s Fund, Deputy Chairman of a successful AiM-listed company, Director of three joint venture infrastructure companies developing new health buildings in London and works with a wide range of public and private clients.
